Billy Strings performed in various formations over the course of the 2019 Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival at Walsh Farm in Oak Hill, New York. Pro-shot video featuring Strings’ cover of The String Cheese Incident classic “Black Clouds” has surfaced from Sunday, July 20, 2019 at Grey Fox.
The band has made “Black Clouds” a staple of their repertoire in live years. Strings, bassist Royal Masat, banjoist Billy Failing and mandolin player Jarrod Walker turned in a version that almost hit the 10-minute mark towards the middle of their set on the Sunday of Grey Fox 2019.
