Margo Price, Nathaniel Rateliff & More Pay Tribute To John Prine For ‘Tiny Desk (Home) Concert’

132

Margo Price and Nathaniel Rateliff are among the performers who paid tribute to John Prine for a special edition of NPR Music’s Tiny Desk (Home) Concert. The artists chose a variety of of Prine tunes to honor the legendary singer-songwriter who died on Tuesday.

Price and her husband Jeremy Ivey kicked off the star-studded session with a rendition of Prine’s “That’s the Way That the World Goes Round” from their bathtub. Singer-songwriter Courtney Marie Andrews continued with “Speed of The Sound Of Loneliness” followed by John Paul White on the anti-war anthem “Sam Stone.” Nathaniel Rateliff then offered up “All The Best” while Brandy Clark closed out the session with her version of “Speed Of the Sound of Loneliness.”
