Phish will stream their October 28, 2016 concert for Episode 6 of their Dinner And A Movie livestream replay series. The show kicked off the band’s 2016 Halloween run at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
This time around the band selected Frontline Foods as the beneficiary for the webcast. The grassroots nonprofit raises money for local restaurants that provide meals for those risking their lives on the frontlines of coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak. All proceeds will head “directly to restaurants to help keep the food industry afloat in communities.” Make a donation anytime through Phish’s WaterWheel Foundation or via Frontline Foods’ website.
Mike Gordon is up for the “Dinner” portion of the webcast. The bassist shared three recipes — “a veritable vegetarian feast” — from friend and chef Michael Solomonov’s famed Philadelphia restaurant Zahav, one of the country’s preeminent interpreters of Israeli cuisine and a recipient of multiple James Beard Foundation Awards. Solomonov is also involved with Federal Donuts, the establishment that provided the donuts for Phish’s legendary Baker’s Dozen run in 2017.
The recipes are as follows: 5-Minute Hummus with Quick Tehina Sauce, Spicy Roasted Cauliflower with Tahini and Slow-Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Garlic Labneh. Click on the link below for the full recipes:
