This Stunning Yacht Is Being Called the  ‘Lamborghini of the Sea’

Milan-based yacht design studio Officina Armare drew heavily from supercars with the striking new A88 Gransport concept.

The company’s website says that the 88-foot seafarer is intended to channel the look of today’s exotic roadgoing rides, with a coupe-like aerodynamic hardtop, four carbon fiber overwater exhausts, carbon fiber lateral wings, a muscular bow and multiple air intakes.

Robb Report called it the “Lamborghini Huracan Evo of the sea,” which isn’t much of a stretch when you consider Officina Armare’s previous Raging Bull-inspired boat, the A43 speedboat.

But with twin 2,600-horsepower 16-valve diesel engines, the A88 has nearly five times the power of the A43, along with a 40-mph cruising speed, a blistering 46-mph top speed, and a 400-mile range.

The foredeck features two large sun pads and a canvas bimini cover, but guests can also head rearward under the roof’s large tinted glass panels to grab some shade. Meanwhile, the aft deck boasts a leather sofa and an alfresco dining area.

Below deck are two guest cabins with twin beds and a master suite with luxury en-suite facilities. According to Officina Armare, different layouts allow for 2-3 guest cabins and a twin crew cabin. For day trips, the A94 can accommodate up to eight up top.

Other highlights include an indoor dining area, a full bar-equipped gallery, a garage occupied by a pair of Seabob waaer sleds and a Williams Sportjet 435 tender, and underwater lights to add ambiance at dusk.

No prices have been announced, but feel free to contact Officina Armare if you’re interested in learning more about the A88 Gransport.
