Warren Haynes, Grace Potter and Norah Jones are among the performers set for Consequence Of Sound’s Angel From Maywood: A Livestream Tribute To John Prine. The all-star tribute will take place on Saturday, April 11 beginning at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT via Consequence Of Sound’s Instagram.

Legendary singer-songwriter John Prine died on Tuesday, April 7 due to complications from COVID-19. Also set to honor the towering folk artist are The Decemberists’ Colin Meloy, The Head And The Heart, John Darnielle of The Mountain Goats, Kevin Morby, Sara and Sean Watkins of Watkins Family Hour, Lake Street Dive, The Lone Bellow’s Zach Williams, Marcus King, Valerie June, Erin Rae and more.

The star-studded event will benefit three charities as per the wishes of John’s wife Fiona Whelan Prine. Nashville Rescue Mission, Room in the Inn, and Thistle Farms will all receive donations from the benefit.
