Guster Performs ‘Doin’ It By Myself’ With The Omaha Symphony: Pro-Shot Video

135

On February 8, 2019, Guster teamed up with The Omaha Symphony for a show at the Holland Performing Arts Center in Omaha. The band shared pro-shot video of “Doin’ It By Myself” from the concert, one of 11 tracks featured on the live album OMAGAH! Guster With The Omaha Symphony.

OMAGAH! Guster With The Omaha Symphony is due out this Friday, May 8 exclusively via Bandcamp and the band’s online store. The album includes symphonic versions of such classics as “Satellite,” “Fa Fa,” “Ramona” and “Long Night.” OMAGAH! also features “Hello Mister Sun” and “Mind Kontrol” from the band’s most recent studio album, 2019’s Look Alive.

Guster originally released “Doin’ It By Myself” in 2015 on their Evermotion LP. Multi-instrumentalist Ryan Miller leaves his band mates and The Omaha Symphony early in the version played last February and jumped into the crowd. Miller climbs into a box next to the orchestra and hugs a fan as he continues to sing “Doin’ It By Myself” before returning to the stage to conclude the song.
