The Raconteurs announced a new EP, Live At Electric Lady, set for release on Friday, May 29. The live record will arrive with an accompanying documentary featuring a conversation with Jim Jarmusch.
The Raconteurs hit New York City’s famed Electric Lady Studios, founded by Jimi Hendrix, in September 2019. Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler were there to record their live EP — featuring seven songs including a cover of the Voidoid’s “Black Generation” originally recorded at Electric Lady — in celebration of the studio’s 50th anniversary and also to sit down with renowned filmmaker Jim Jarmusch.
Presented by Spotify, the documentary is set to premiere on YouTube at 10 a.m. ET/ 7 a.m. PT on Friday, May 29. Check out a preview below:
