The Rolling Stones Select ‘Bridges To Babylon’ For ‘Extra Licks’

116

The Rolling Stones announced footage from a concert filmed during their 1997 Bridges To Babylon Tour will be the next installment in their Extra Licks streaming series. Video from the show at Chicago’s Soldier Field will premiere on the JamBase Livestreams Calendar via YouTube this Sunday, May 31 at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT.

The Stones’ Bridges To Babylon Tour in support of their album of the same name hit Soldier Field as one of the first stops on the massive world tour, which saw the legendary rockers introducing a B-stage and offering fans the chance to vote a song into the setlist via their website. “Under My Thumb” served as the fan choice at Soldier Field in ‘97, as per Setlist.FM. The Stones also delivered classics like “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction,” “It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll (But I Like It),” “Miss You,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” and “Brown Sugar.” Additionally, the show saw the band busting out a number of songs for the first time in years like “Bitch,” “Let’s Spend The Night Together” and “Ruby Tuesday” as well as a couple live debuts led by Keith Richards.
