Colter Wall announced a new album, Western Swing & Waltzes And Other Punchy Songs, due out on August 28th via La Honda Records/Thirty Tigers. The singer-songwriter also shared the single, “Western Swing & Waltzes.”
Western Swing & Waltzes And Other Punchy Songs sees rising country star Colter Wall step into the role of producer after observing one of the best, Dave Cobb, who produced Wall’s 2018 album, Songs Of The Plains. To record the new LP, Wall assembled his touring band consisting of Patrick Lyons (pedal steel, dobro, mandolin), Jake Groves (harmonica), Jason Simpson (bass) and Aaron Goodrich (drums) along with hired guns Emily Gimble (piano) and Doug Moreland (fiddle) at Yellow Dog Studios in Wimberley, Texas.
Colter and company emerged with a 10-track effort previewed by lead single “Western Swing & Waltzes.” Listen to it below:
