Margo Price Plays New Songs, Covers Bob Dylan On ‘CBS This Morning’

Margo Price appeared on CBS This Morning: Saturday. The singer-songwriter performed a pair of songs from her upcoming Sturgill Simpson-produced album That’s How Rumors Get Started along with a Bob Dylan cover.

Price’s performance — virtually backed by her band who played from their front porches and living rooms — delivered the recently released single, “Letting Me Down,” along with “Drifter,” an unreleased B-side from the That’s How Rumors Get Started sessions. Price would also pay homage to Dylan with “Things Have Changed” from the soundtrack to the 2000 film Wonder Boys. The song earned Dylan an Oscar for Best Original Song in 2001.

Price also sat down for an interview where she talked about her decision to postpone her album, largely due to her husband Jeremy Ivey’s struggle with COVID-19. Watch all three performances and the interview below:
