Holly Bowling Announces New Album Of Grateful Dead Covers ‘Seeking All That’s Still Unsung’

128

Holly Bowling announced a new album of Grateful Dead covers, Seeking All That’s Still Unsung. Bowling shared on social media that the album will arrive this fall.

Seeking All That’s Still Unsung follows Bowling’s last Grateful Dead covers album, 2016’s Better Left Unsung. “I wanted it to be different than the last one,” Bowling said in an announcement video, “just in terms of the style of improvisation and the liberties I felt comfortable taking with the music. But I wanted it to be different beyond that somehow.” Along with sharing the video, Bowling announced a Kickstarter fundraiser to finish production.

Seeking All That’s Still Unsung (Kickstarter!)

I’m very excited to share that I will have a new album of Grateful Dead music out this Fall! Seeking All That’s Still Unsung was recorded at 25th Street Recording in Oakland, CA, and it’s the record that feels closest to what I do in a live performance of any of the studio albums I’ve released while also accomplishing things musically that are impossible out on the road. It’s been a long time coming and I can’t wait for you to hear it. I’ve launched a Kickstarter to help bring the final stages of production to fruition, please join me there to support this release and for access to exclusive merch items!🔗 https://fanlink.to/HBkickstarter
