Louis Cole, the talented jazz drummer who makes up one half of KNOWER and often collaborates with Los Angeles-area musicians like Thundercat, has shared a craftily edited live video featuring footage from full-band performances in Los Angeles and Amsterdam in December of last year.

The 44-minute video shared to Cole’s YouTube on Monday showcases the producer, keyboardist, and drummer in his skeleton-themed bodysuit backed up by 12 other musicians on stage at a time during the two performances. The video mixes DIY-style footage in addition to pro-shot camera work to make for an entertaining watch as American fans continue to patiently wait for the return of live music through the summer months. Fans who look closely will notice Cole’s KNOWER bandmate Genevieve Artadi who makes appearances throughout the video as one of his backing singers for the two shows.

Last month Cole and KNOWER shared an ethereal new music video for “Different Lives”, an original track which first appeared as an abbreviated version on 2018’s Life and has since been officially released as a stand-alone single earlier this year. Cole also recently appeared on Thundercat’s 2020 It Is What It Is studio album on the track, “I Love Louis Cole”.
