Goose has released pro-shot footage of “White Lights” from the band’s concert at South Farms in Morris, CT on September 16th. The footage comes from the first of the band’s two concerts at the socially-distanced venue.

These concerts at South Farms, which has quickly become the go-to spot in the Northeast for the new pod concert format, marked Goose’s latest development from livestream, to drive-in, to pod concert. Last week, Goose announced additional drive-in concerts in Ohio, North Carolina, and Maryland slated for next month.

This live cut of the Peter Anspach sing-along favorite came in the two slot of what would prove to be a four-song second set. As indicated, the jams were rolling during the second frame, as the band took this rendition out to the 13-minute mark. But the improvisation had to wait until after Anspach’s vocals, which saw the multi-instrumentalist altering the beginning of the second verse to, “I can see the future, I can see the farm.”

Soon enough, it was time to trade vocals for jam vehicles. What began as keyboard-led improvisation from Anspach inevitably gave way to the tour-de-force that is Rick Mitarotonda. The recent addition of Jeff Arevalo, who came aboard during the Bingo Tour series, has already made his mark by giving Goose jams an added texture, which is on full display here. In short, the band is firing on all cylinders during the South Farms show as content-starved fans finally got to see the ever-rising jam stars play in front of people instead of cars or computer screens.
