Get ready for Farm Aid 2020 with a series of videos featuring Willie Nelson collaborations from the event’s 35-year history.
Eric Burton revealed Black Pumas’ collaboration with Jack Johnson was put together by Farm Aid organizers. Burton noted he first heard his band would be performing with Johnson after receiving a text from the Hawaii-based singer-songwriter. The brief interview was followed by a performance of “Colors” from Black Pumas’ self-titled debut album. Johnson and Black Pumas recorded the rendition remotely with Jack inserting a verse he wrote into the middle of the song.
