Vulfpeck Contributes ‘Track 10’ Proceeds To ‘DonorsChoose’ Campaigns

Vulfpeck recently sold the 10th track from their forthcoming The Joy Of Music, The Job Of Real Estate studio album via eBay for $70,100. Today, the band revealed they used at least a portion of the proceeds to help fund a variety of DonorsChoose campaigns.

DonorsChoose is a non-profit organization that gives individuals the opportunity to donate directly to public school classroom projects. The organization was founded by Charles Best in 2000 and has funded over 1.7 million projects since. Campaigns are started by teachers who go above and beyond for their students. “going on a @DonorsChoose spree with the track-10 money,” reads a tweet from Vulfpeck that was followed by links to the campaigns for which the band contributed.
