Charley Crockett Is “The Man That Time Forgot” In New Live Video [Watch]

On Monday, Charley Crockett shared a new live video for his song “The Man That Time Forgot”. The track comes from the country revivalist’s latest album, Welcome to Hard Times, released back in July.

The live video is the latest in a string for Crockett, who has been churning them out since the album’s release. These visual accompaniments are separate, however, from the Spaghetti Western cinematic universe he created with the videos for “Fool Somebody Else“, “Run Horse Run“, and more ahead of Welcome to Hard Times‘ drop date.

The live video—like all of the others—was shot at Sam’s Town Point in Austin, TX. While in previous installments that information was conveyed via the video’s description, in this clip there is little question as to the location as Crockett stands in front of a sign for the honky tonk music bar for the entirety of the video.

“The Man That Time Forgot” takes on a simplistic approach, as Crockett stands and sings directly into the camera for the entirety of the 2:56 minute video. All the while, he paints the picture of this mythical man that time forgot. It could be easily said that Crockett is the man that time forgot, but given his penchant for the bygone days of classic outlaw country music, he knows exactly what time he’s living in—it’s just not ours.
