Metallica announced on Tuesday that the band will go live from their headquarters on November 14th for a special acoustic benefit concert. The show, presented by Nugs, will also feature an auction of special items and experiences, with more details to be announced.

The livestream event will mark the metal pioneers’ first worldwide pay-per-view event. Funds raised from the event will go to benefit the band’s charity All Within My Hands. Founded in 2017, All Within My Hands is dedicated to creating sustainable communities by supporting workforce education, the fight against hunger, and other critical local services.

The acoustic concert will begin at 4 p.m. ET and be available to stream for 48 hours after it airs. This announcement marks Metallica’s latest foray into broadcasting in-studio performances, as they screened a concert at drive-in theaters across the country for the Encore Drive-In Nights event. The band also appeared on The Howard Stern Show back in August for the first time in over three years, where they provided further sustenance for their content-starved fans with a trio of songs.
