UPDATE: Oteil Burbridge Postpones Five-Show Colorado Run

[UPDATE 1/12/21]: Oteil Burbridge has confirmed his upcoming run of Oteil Burbridge Trio performances in Vail and Boulder, CO scheduled for next month have been postponed to March.

An announcement from the Dead & Company bassist confirming the postponement on Tuesday revealed new dates for the five trio shows, which will see Oteil team up with John Kimock (drums) and Tom Guarna (guitar) for the run. The two shows at the Boulder Theater in Boulder, CO will now take place on March 15th-16th, and the three shows at the Vilar Center in Vail, CO will now happen on March 18th-20th. All existing tickets from the old dates will be honored, and refunds will also be made available.

Oteil Burbridge Trio has scheduled a five-show run in Colorado taking place in early 2021. The Dead & Company bassist announced the run on social media Friday morning. John Kimock (drums) and Tom Guarna (guitar) will join Burbridge for the entire run.

Beginning on February 1st, the Oteil Burbridge Trio will kickstart a two-night run at the Boulder Theater in Boulder, CO, followed by a second show on February 2nd. After a night off, OBT will head to Beaver Creek, CO for another run of socially-distanced shows. February 4th will see the first-of-three performances at Vilar Performing Arts Center, with another on February 5th and the final on the 6th.

Both the Boulder Theater and the Vilar Performing Arts Center will adhere to county-specific social distancing guidelines. The venues will require all patrons to wear a mask except while actively eating or drinking. Tickets for the Boulder Theater shows are $150 per person and are sold in groups of four or eight. Each ticket will include two drinks (beer, wine, or well), two McDevitt Taco Supply tacos, as well as chips and salsa. The venue also requires patrons maintain six-foot social distancing with all people outside of their ticket group and each ticket holder must provide a phone number for contact tracing. The Vilar Performing Arts Center tickets cost $200 and are limited to 100 guests total.
