Pearl Jam To Honor 30th Anniversary With Archival Stream Of Live ‘Ten’ Performance [Video]

99

October 22nd, 2020 will mark the 30th anniversary of the first-ever live performance by a band called Mookie Blaylock, but you probably know them by another name: Pearl Jam. In honor of the anniversary, Pearl Jam are offering a webcast of their April 29th, 2016 show at Philadelphia, PA’s Wells Fargo Center—the night they played their 1991 debut album, Ten, in its entirety for the very first time. Order your Pearl Jam 4/29/16 webcast via Nugs.tv here.

“Philly gives back, they just give back,” Eddie Vedder notes from the stage in a teaser video from the 4/29/16 performance. “We just tried to figure out something we could get for you, something we could wrap and unwrap with you.”

As a banner commemorating 10 sold-out shows in South Philly unfurls on screen, Vedder continues, [We decided] we’re gonna make a flag for y’all to hang in the rafters, and then I saw that number and it was like, I think we gotta do it!”

Pearl Jam has partnered with nugs.net to present this 32-song set (which begins with Ten), mixed in stereo and 5.1 digital surround sound by Pearl Jam producer, Josh Evans. This never-seen-before footage was captured in full color by 11 HD cameras by videographer Blue Leach and edited by Pearl Jam archivist Kevin Shuss. Order your webcast here for $14.99 and watch anytime from October 22nd at 8 p.m. ET through October 25th at 11:59 p.m. PT.
