While regular touring remains out of the question amid the ongoing pandemic, Dawes have managed to remain busy throughout the second half of this year. The Los Angeles rockers released their seventh studio album, GOOD LUCK WITH WHATEVER, back in October and have given a handful of short-form virtual performances in the time since.

On October 3rd, Dawes’ Taylor Goldsmith took part in Live For Live Music and HeadCount‘s Democracy Comes Alive, which raised tens of thousands of dollars for voter registration efforts and led thousands of viewers toward HeadCount’s voter registration tools. Watch Taylor’s beautiful rendition of “Free As We Wanna Be” from Democracy Comes Alive here.
