Merry bloody Christmas because Delta Goodrem has surprise-dropped a Christmas album. The sweetheart of Aussie music has delivered a 13-track album filled with covers of classic carols.

The album includes classics like ‘Deck the Halls’ and ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’ as well as modern carols like ‘Grown-Up Christmas List’.

She even rounded up icon Olivia Newton-John to feature on ‘Merry Christmas to You’ and shared ‘Silent Night’ with Gurrumul. The Gurrumul collab is from 2014’s The Spirit Of Christmas 2014.

Sharing news of the album via Twitter, Delta Goodrem said, “SURPRISE! My CHRISTMAS ALBUM “Only Santa Knows” is out now everywhere!”

“It’s on a sleigh heading your way! I hope the music brings you joy and puts us all in good spirits regardless of everything going on around us Sparkles Sending love & Christmas cheer!”

She also shared news of the title track’s lyric video on Instagram. It sees her recreate that infamous Love Actually scene, the one with the cards.

On it, she said, “What you can’t see is a team of elves running around behind the scenes, catching and organising my cards and everyone shouting when to flip them because I couldn’t see anything.”
