Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires released Live at The Bend today, available via Bandcamp. The live recording comes from the husband and wife duo’s November 7, 2020 performance at The Bend in North Charleston, South Carolina.
The new live album arrives as part of a series of performances Isbell, Shires and their band The 400 Unit have put out throughout 2020. Live at The Bend sees Isbell on guitar and Shires on fiddle as they duet on songs from both their catalogs from the opening track of Isbell’s “Hope The High Road” to Shires’ “Break Out The Champagne” to closing number “If We Were Vampires.”
To preview the new live record, Isbell and Shires shared the relatively new track “Letting You Go” from The 400 Unit’s 2020 album Reunions. Stream it below:
