The Avett Brothers Announce Full-Band New Year’s Eve Livestream

114

The Avett Brothers will ring in the new year with a livestream concert on December 31st, the band announced on Tuesday. The concert will see the full lineup come together for a show featuring unnamed special guests, as well as an NYE countdown with Seth and Scott Avett.

This show will mark the band’s first performance together since their second drive-in concert at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 23rd. These full-band concerts came on the heels of the release of The Third Gleam in August, which saw the country-folk powerhouse strip down to a three-piece for a back-to-basics approach.

Children of tradition, this will mark The Avett Brothers’ 17th annual New Year’s Eve concert, and—while it may look a bit different than years past—the band promises it’ll be just as memorable. The fan-less concert will take place at the ornate Blumenthal Performing Arts Center in the band’s native Charlotte, NC, and will be available to crowds around the globe through a broadcast by Nugs.net.

Tickets for The Avett Brothers’ New Year’s Eve concert are available now through Nugs, with special Black Friday/Cyber Monday early bird pricing options. Tune in to the webcast on December 31st starting at 8 p.m. ET.
