The String Cheese Incident Selects Port Chester 2014 Concert For ‘Friday Night Cheese’

52

The String Cheese Incident selected their November 11, 2014 concert at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York for the next Friday Night Cheese. The “Thanksgiving Edition” webcast will air on Friday, November 27 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on the Jambase Livestreams Calendar via Nugs.tv.

The first of a two-night run at The Cap, SCI’s November 11, 2014 show also marked the band’s first appearance at the historic theatre. Additionally, the “Thanksgiving Edition” of Friday Night Cheese is the first time most of the band’s Capitol Theatre debut will hit the airwaves. The only part of the concert that aired previously was SCI’s nod to a band that goes way back with The Cap, the Grateful Dead.

During the second set, Cheese took a walk down “Shakedown Street.” While they had played the GD classic earlier that year in the Bay Area, it was just the fourth time overall the disco-tinged tune graced an SCI setlist since its debut in 2001, as per Phantasy Tour.

The String Cheese Incident took to social media to announced the return of Friday Night Cheese. Check out their post below:
