Alanis Morissette appeared on last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. The singer-songwriter performed a cover of John Lennon & Yoko Ono and the Plastic Ono Band’s “Happy Xmas (War Is Over)” and chatted remotely for an interview with host Jimmy Kimmel.
Morissette recently shared a recording of “Happy Xmas (War Is Over),” which was released in 1971 by John & Yoko with the Plastic Ono Band and the Harlem Community Choir. She also recently released Such Pretty Forks In The Mix, a remix version of her 2020 album, Such Pretty Forks In The Road. Morissette discussed the new album, the 25th anniversary of her breakout album, Jagged Little Pill and the Tony Award-nominated Broadway play based on the record during her interview with Kimmel.
