Last Thursday (12/3) a number of notable musicians including Jim James, Kesha, Graham Nash, Sting, Angelique Kidjo, and more took part in the David Lynch Foundation‘s “Meditate America” virtual benefit and concert.

The two-hour event was streamed online for free, though viewers were encouraged to donate what money they can to benefit the foundation’s “Heal the Healers Now” program, which aims to introduce the practice of transcendental meditation to medical professionals. In addition to recognizing “Peace On Earth Award” recipient Dr. Tony Nader, viewers were also treated to performances from Jim James and Kesha who covered Bob Dylan‘s “I Shall Be Released”, Sting and Angelique Kidjo performing “One World”, Graham Nash performing “Our House”, and Elvis Costello performing “(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding?” to name a few.
