Listen To Jack Johnson’s New Single ‘The Captain Is Drunk’

Jack Johnson has shared a new single with us today. ‘The Captain Is Drunk’ is his newest offering and it’s a stunning acoustic track.

Johnson spoke about the new track with Rolling Stone. He told the publication about his love of the Men Against the Sea trilogy by Charles Nordhoff and James Norman Hall.

“With how divided our country felt leading up to the election, the stories from this series kept popping into my mind,” said Jack Johnson. “Big decisions on which way to sail in the middle of a storm as people disagree.”

Johnson has shared one other single this year, ‘Don’t Let Me Down’, a collaborative effort with Milky Chance.

His last studio album was All The Light Above It Too in 2017.
