Lukas Nelson & Promise of The Real shared a cover of Tom Waits’ “Come On Up To The House.” The clip comes as part of the band’s Soundcheck Songs video series.
Waits co-wrote “Come On Up To The House” with Kathleen Brennan and included it on his 1999 album, Mule Variations. Willie Nelson, Lukas’ father, put the song on his 2012 album, Heroes, which featured Lukas. For the Soundcheck Songs performance. Lukas sings and delivers some bluesy guitar stylings.
