Sierra Ferrell kicked off WXPN’s Winter Sessions video series. The Nashville-based singer-songwriter performed two of her 2020 singles and more for the Philadelphia public radio station.
Ferrell released her singles “Jeremiah” and “Why’d Ya Do It” in October. Sierra has an album on the way slated for a Spring 2021 release, her Rounder Records debut. For her WXPN performance, the guitarist is accompanied by mandolin and fiddle as well as standup bass on the aforementioned songs along with “I’d Do It Again,” “The West Virginia Waltz” (Ferrell hails from West Virginia) and “Give It Time.”
