The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced its list of nominees for the museum’s class of 2021 on Tuesday morning.

Jay-Z and Foo Fighters both received 2021 nominations in their first year of eligibility, joining fellow first-time nominees Iron Maiden, Mary J. Blige, Fela Kuti, Dionne Warwick, and the Go-Go’s. Other artists on the list of 2021 nominees include Rage Against the Machine, Kate Bush, Devo, Tina Turner, Chaka Khan, Todd Rundgren, New York Dolls, Carole King, and LL Cool J.

Both Carole King and Tina Turner have the chance to be inducted into the Rock Hall for the second time (both were previously inducted alongside their respective creative partners, Gerry Goffin and Ike Turner). Foo Fighters singer/guitarist Dave Grohl might also receive his second nod into the Rock Hall following Nirvana’s induction in 2014.

While the class of 2020 induction ceremony was canceled and forced to be held virtually via HBO and HBO Max, this year’s event is planned to return to Cleveland and scheduled for the coming fall months. Inductees will be revealed in May.
