Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy and Greensky Bluegrass‘ Paul Hoffman are among those on the Bluebird Music Festival’s initial 2021 lineup. The event will take place September 25 – 26 at Macky Auditorium in Boulder, Colorado.
This year’s Bluebird Music Festival will be held over two full days spanning four events. A “Strings & Stories” event on the afternoon of Saturday, September 25 will feature Tweedy, Jade Bird, Molly Tuttle and Otis Taylor. Performers for the Saturday evening event will be announced soon.
Hoffman, Rayland Baxter, Willie Watson and Trout Steak Revival are aboard for “Strings & Stories” on the afternoon of Sunday, September 26. Paul Hoffman, Rayland Baxter, Molly Tuttle and Daniel Rodriguez close out the Bluebird Music Festival with performances on Sunday night.
Organizers shared the following message:
Though signs seem to be pointing toward a safe event environment by the fall, our priority is protecting both your health and your wallet.
We will work with state and University officials to follow all safety protocols that may be in place this fall. This could include reduced capacity. If capacity is reduced, those who purchased their tickets first will receive priority admission to the events. All other purchases will be refunded. If the event is unable to safely take place, all orders will be refunded. We will not make you use your ticket for a future date.
This announcement is one of hope. Mental health is so critical right now and we want to give everyone something to look forward to this fall!
