Meat Loaf Is Launching A Competitive Relationship Reality Show

68

In news that no one was expecting in 2021, Meat Loaf is launching a reality competition series called I’d Do Anything For Love… But I Won’t Do That.

The name of the show is based on the Texas musician’s song of the same name, which features on his 1993 record Bat Out Of Hell II: Back Into Hell.

According to Deadline, Meat Loaf, AKA Michael Lee Aday, has teamed up with production company Nobody’s Hero – the guys behind Netflix’s Nailed It! – for the forthcoming series that will see him executive producing this relationship competition series.

As exec producer, he’ll be pulling all of the strings, which will include couples competing in a variety of “comedic physical games” designed to test teamwork and trust, all while being soundtracked by classic hits to be performed live in the studio by the original artists.

Each episode will focus on two couple’s participating for a sweet cash prize. After two rounds of outright absurd tasks and physical contests inspired by ballads, the winning couple will head to the “Endgame” where their couplet will undergo the ultimate challenge.

There are no other details about the show as of yet, but it’s guaranteed to be a lol paired with some excellent music.
