Billy Strings and his band were back in action on Saturday as the bluegrass guitarist/singer welcomed fans back to the Columbia Speedway Entertainment Center for the third show as part of a four-night outdoor run at the South Carolina racetrack.

Following a show-opening performance of “Long Forgotten Dream” from 2019’s Home, followed by a pair of covers with takes on Jerry Reed‘s “The Likes of Me” and Widespread Panic’s “All Time Low”. Strings returned to his own songbook for performances of “Running the Route”, “So Many Miles”, “Red Daisy”, and “Wargasm”, before continuing with more covers in Bob Weir‘s “Cassidy”, The Dillards‘ “Ernest T. Grass”, and “Little Maddie” to close the first set.

The night came to a close with the performance of “Turmoil & Tinfoil”, and a one-song encore covering Reno and Smiley‘s “I’m Gone, Long Gone”.
