New England-based soul quintet Lake Street Dive confirmed a pair of socially distanced June 2021 outdoor concerts in New Haven. Additionally, Lake Street Dive recently performed a virtual session for The Current.
Lake Street Dive will play Westville Music Bowl in New Haven, Connecticut on Thursday, June 10 and Friday, June 11. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 23 at 12 p.m. ET via AXS.com (June 10, June 11). The shows come in addition to a three-night stand at Beak & Skiff Orchards in Lafayette, New York June 4 – 6.
The band’s virtual session for the Minnesota Public Radio station featured performances of songs from Obviously, a studio album released last month. Lake Street Dive opened with “Making Do” and then plays “Hypotheticals,” the song that includes a lyric which gave Obviously its title. The five-piece closed the set with “Being A Woman.”
