Pink Floyd shared audio featuring their performance of The Dark Side Of The Moon standout “Money” from Knebworth House in Knebworth, England on July 30, 1990. Audio of the entire set will be released as Live At Knebworth 1990 via Warner Music on April 30.
“Money” features special guest Candy Dulfer on saxophone. Other guests who joined Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright and their touring band at Knebworth included vocalists Durga McBroom, Sam Brown, Clare Torry and Vicki McBroom as well as keyboardist Michael Kamen.
Pink Floyd’s set brought The Silver Clef Award Winners Concert to a close in front of approximately 120,000 fans. Elton John, Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton and Genesis also performed at the benefit for the Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy Charity.
Live At Knebworth 1990 was initially unveiled as part of Pink Floyd’s The Later Years box set. The upcoming release marks the first time the set will be available in standalone form.
