National Geographic will host an online event to celebrate the eve of this year’s Earth Day with virtual performances from Willie Nelson, Maggie Rogers, José González, and more.
Announced on Wednesday, National Geographic’s Earth Day Eve 2021 virtual celebration scheduled for Wednesday, April 21st, will also feature performances from Angélique Kidjo, Ziggy Marley, Yo-Yo Ma, AURORA, Rostam, and Valerie June, in addition to the premiere of a new music video from My Morning Jacket.
Hosted by travel writer and noted explorer Jessica Nabongo, the one-night event will stream for free on National Geographic’s YouTube channel in addition to the media publisher’s website beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET on April 21st.
