[UPDATE 8/19/21]: Following the announcement that Nine Inch Nails have canceled all 2021 appearances due to COVID-19 concerns, Riot Fest has confirmed alternate lineup plans for its 2021 event, originally set to take place in Chicago, IL on September 17th, 18th, and 19th.
The festival has now opened up its Thursday, September 16th “Preview Party” featuring Morrissey and a “curated lineup with very special guests” to everyone. All three-day and Sunday ticket holders will now have access to the Thursday event. Proceeds from Thursday ticket sales are set to benefit local organizations including Chicago Coalition for the Homeless.
In addition to the extra day with Morrissey, Riot Fest has added Slipknot to the Sunday linupe to fill the slot vacated by NIN.
