Instrumental quartet Circles Around the Sun laid out dates for a two-week tour in September. New guitarist Scott Metzger will join keyboardist Adam MacDougall, bassist Dan Horne and drummer Mark Levy for a run focused on the West Coast and Mountain states.
CATS kick off the excursion at the Troubadour in West Hollywood on September 8 ahead of a second California show at Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael on September 9. It’s then off to the Pacific Northwest for concerts in Portland on September 10, Seattle on September 11, Bend on September 12 and Boise on September 13.
The four-piece continues the tour at Soundwell in Salt Lake City on September 14. Circles Around The Sun end the jaunt in Colorado with shows in Fort Collins on September 15, Boulder on September 16, Steamboat Springs on September 17 and a slot opening for Greensky Bluegrass at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison on September 18.
