Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, Lucinda Williams and Drive-By Truckers are among the acts on the ShoalsFest 2021 lineup. The event, curated by Isbell, returns for its second year at McFarland Park in Florence, Alabama October 2 – 3.
Amanda Shires, Candi Staton, Centro-matic, Slobberbone, Cedric Burnside, Farmer Jason and Pine Hill Haints round out the lineup. “We had a whole lot of fun in 2019, so we’re excited to get back to McFarland Park,” said Jason Isbell in a statement. “It’s the perfect place to enjoy world-class artists and the beauty of the Singing River. These acts are all personal favorites of ours, and we’re proud to bring them to our hometown and show them a good time. I hope y’all are as excited as we are about ShoalsFest 2021.”
ShoalsFest takes place near both Green Hill, Alabama, where Isbell was raised, and Muscle Shoals, Alabama — home to legendary recording studios FAME and Muscle Shoals Sound. Just 7,000 tickets will be sold for the intimate event.
Pre-sales take place on Thursday, June 10 at Counts Brothers Music in Muscle Shoals and at Birmingham’s Seasick Records. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, June 11 at 10 a.m. CT via Showticks.
