Celisse Henderson Welcomes Trey Anastasio At Peach Music Festival

Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio joined Celisse Henderson during her set at The Peach Music Festival on Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania on Saturday. Trey would help Celisse close out the set with one of her originals, a Led Zeppelin classic and more.

Celisse previously collaborated with Anastasio in Ghosts Of The Forest as well as The Beacon Jams. She introduced Trey by saying “I have a very special guest with me here tonight. An up-and-coming artist, I hear he’s got a lot of promise. He’s got this band, a couple of bands actually, that are going places.” Anastasio performed with Oysetrhead later in the evening. To kick off the sit-in, Trey added some rhythm on “Undercover” as Celisse sang the song before the guitarists traded licks, which built into a, joyous, fiery exchange.

Anastatio would stick around for the civil rights anthem “Keep Your Eyes On The Prize” followed by Led Zeppelin’s “Rock And Roll.” The Zep classic once again saw the guitarists shredding together in a rollicking jam before Celisse borough the rocker home to close out the set.
