Steve Kimock & Friends announced a run of four tour dates with Hot Tuna scheduled for late in 2021. Hot Tuna features guitarist Jorma Kaukonen, bassist Jack Casady and drummer Justin Guip, while the latest Steve Kimock & Friends lineup finds the guitarist joined by vocalist/slide guitarist Billy Goodman, drummer John Kimock, bassist Kenny Aaronson and keyboardist Michael Borowski.
The first Hot Tuna show featuring Steve Kimock & Friends as support will take place at The Birchmere in Alexandria, Virginia on November 24. Guitarist Steve Kimock and his band then join Hot Tuna in December for the last three shows of their tour. The run includes concerts in Munhall, Pennsylvania on December 7; Kent, Ohio on December 8 and Cincinnati on December 9.
Kimock has served as Hot Tuna’s special guest a number of times over the past few years. The latest collaboration came at The Town Hall in New York City on November 29 and 30, 2019.
Hot Tuna will team with the David Grisman Trio this fall for shows spanning November 26 – December 5. Steve Kimock & Friends next take the stage this Saturday night at Ardmore Music Hall in Ardmore, Pennsylvania.
