Telluride Jazz Festival returned to its home in the scenic Colorado mountain town on August 13th, 14th, and 15th, 2021 following a pandemic-imposed year off in 2020.
This year’s 44th edition of the stylistically diverse festival featured a lineup headed by Galactic featuring Anjelika ‘Jelly’ Joseph, Robert Glasper, and Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
Other acts on the bill included The Budos Band, The Hot Sardines, Poncho Sanchez, The Dip, Christian Sands, Kelly Finnigan & the Atonements, Bonerama, Allison Miller’s Boom Tic Boom, Catherine Russell.
The lineup was rounded out by The Harlem Gospel Travelers, Crescent Super Band, Pete Muller & The Kindred Souls, Rico Jones Countercurrent, The Speakeasy Jazz Sextet, Telluride Student All-Stars Jazz Ensemble, Hooligans Brass Band, Deep Pocket, The Soul Research Foundation, The Inevitables, Voodoo Orchestra, Max Headroom, Little Big Band, and Stillwater All-Stars.
