Trey Anastasio Band Announce COVID-19 Protocols For 2021 Tour

99

Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio laid out new COVID-19 protocols for the Trey Anastasio Band‘s upcoming tour. Attendees are required to display proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test result taken within 48 hours of doors for entry to most concerts on the run.

Ticketholders under the age of 12 can attend concerts as long as they provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test administered within 48 hours to when doors open. Additional details will be sent via email to those who purchased tickets. “We strongly recommend that you wear a mask at shows when social distancing isn’t possible,” reads part of a note posted on Trey.com and Anastasio’s social feeds. “Thanks for continuing to do your part and stay safe!”

Venues in Columbus, Pittsburgh and Washington D.C. will allow negative COVID-19 test results taken within 72 hours to be used for entry. In compliance with local regulations, fans attending TAB’s shows at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall cannot use negative test results for entry and must provide proof of full vaccination.

The Trey Anastasio Band kicks off the tour at Thompson’s Point in Portland, Maine on September 17. Concerts in Boston, New Haven, Philadelphia, Charlottesville, Wilmington (North Carolina), Charlotte, Asheville, Columbus, Pittsburgh and Washington D.C. follow ahead of a tour-closing two-night stand at Radio City Music Hall October 2 – 3. The excursion marks the first for new TAB bassist Dezron Douglas.
