[UPDATE]: The Rex Foundation has expanded the already jam-packed lineup for the Daze Between celebration at Westville Music Bowl on August 8th. The multi-band performance will now feature performances by the Mikaela Davis Trio and Roots Of Creation’s Grateful Dub.
These special guests join the existing lineup featuring Warren Haynes and Grace Potter (who will perform both alone and together), a special Lettuce Celebrates JGB set, and Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass bluegrass tribute to the Grateful Dead.
The Westville show will serve as an emphatic exclamation point on this year’s hybrid Daze Between celebration. Presented by the Dead’s Rex Foundation charity and The Jerry Garcia Family, the second-annual Daze Between features a mix of digital events with in-person concerts across the country. The celebration got started this past Sunday, August 1st, with a birthday celebration for Jerry Garcia at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver, CO featuring members of The String Cheese Incident, Old & In The Way, Leftover Salmon, Circles Around The Sun, and more.

[7/15/21]: The Rex Foundation has announced a very special Daze Between blowout set to take place on Sunday, August 8th at New Haven, CT’s Westville Music Bowl.
The multi-band performance comes as part of The Rex Foundation’s annual Daze Between series, a nationwide celebration of Jerry Garcia through art, music, and service between August 1st, the date of his birth in 1942, and August 9th, the date of his death in 1995.
Set to appear at the one-day Daze Between show in New Haven are Warren Haynes and Grace Potter (both alone and together); Lettuce Celebrates JGB, the funk-fusion band’s rare and acclaimed celebration of the Jerry Garcia Band; Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass, the guitarist’s bluegrass tribute to the Grateful Dead; and more special guests to be announced.
