Joe Russo’s Almost Dead Announces New Haven Concert Livestream

108

Tonight’s Joe Russo’s Almost Dead concert at Westville Music Bowl in New Haven, Connecticut will be featured in a livestream. JRAD’s “Go To Haven” residency finale airs via FANS starting at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT this evening, Saturday, September 4.

Drummer Joe Russo, guitarists Scott Metzger and Tom Hamilton, bassist Dave Dreiwitz and keyboardist Marco Benevento began the residency with three shows over Memorial Day Weekend. Joe Russo’s Almost Dead returned to the venue for another three-night stand June 18 – 20 and a pair of concerts on July 30 and 31. Tonight’s performance caps the nine-show residency.

Joe Russo spoke with JamBase in July about the “Go To Haven” residency and additional topics. While the quintet went without repeats at the first eight concerts of the run, Russo hinted at the band incorporating songs previously played at Westville Music Bowl into tonight’s setlist. “I think that final night is just going to be a celebration of everything we’ve done, to be honest, and really just put a bow on it and kind of thank everyone for coming out and supporting us and being there for this whole thing,” the drummer revealed. “It’s been wild and it is crazy to have played [Westville Music Bowl] so many times.”

Tickets for the livestream are available here. Fans who purchase tickets will be able to watch the show live as well as on-demand through Tuesday, September 7 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
