Metallica was featured on Friday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. The seminal metal band’s appearance was in honor of the 30th anniversary of their self-titled 1991 studio album known as The Black Album.
Metallica’s James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo sat for an interview with the show’s host Jimmy Kimmel. Among the topics discussed was Today’s New Albums: Béla Fleck, Kacey Musgraves, Heartless Bastards, Low & MoreThe Metallica Blacklist, a new compilation featuring over 50 artists covering songs on The Black Album. Metallica also participated in a segment in which the band read 1-star reviews of the now-classic album.
