Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform in the United States and internationally in 2022. The band will soon share specific tour dates and locations.

RHCP revealed the pending World Tour 2022 in a video featuring frontman Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith and guitarist John Frusciante. Frusciante, a member of the band between 1988 and 2009, rejoined RHCP in 2019. Guitarist Josh Klinghoffer played his final show as a member of RHCP in November 2019 and recently joined Pearl Jam’s touring lineup.

A parody of an Anchorman-style newscast, the announcement video’s release coincides with today’s 30th anniversary of the release of Red Hot Chili Peppers’ standout 1991 album, Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magik. According to the video, the global tour will start in June 2022, with U.S. tour dates planned for July 2022.
