Dave Matthews Band shared pro-shot video of “#41” as part of the Summer Warm Up series. The clip comes from DMB’s August 23, 2019 concert at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre near Denver.
“#41” is a Dave Matthews Band classic. DMB debuted the song on April 7, 1995 in Durham, North Carolina, as per DMB Almanac. The track would later appear on DMB’s milestone 1996 album, Crash.
The August 23, 2019 version came about halfway through the set during the first night of two at Fiddler’s Green with Dave delivering a characteristically strong vocal performance on the tune. The jam boasts a killer trumpet solo from Rashawn Ross as well as some jazzy interplay between the entire band ahead of the song’s conclusion.
