King Gizz Have Curated Their Own New Year’s Eve Festival, Timeland

63

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard have announced their own massive, two-day New Year’s festival, Timeland. The festival is set to run across 31st December and 1st January at Our Friend’s Farm in Tallarook, Victoria, which is also the site of the annual Boogie Festival.

What’s on the bill? Well, King Gizz will perform for a grand total of six hours across four different sets, and the band have also curated a massive lineup that includes Harvey Sutherland, Grace Cummings, Gordon Koang, MOD CON and more.

“It literally feels like a lifetime since we could even consider the possibility of a music and camping festival. It feels like 100,000 years has passed, but here we are,” the sprawling psych-rock collective commented in a statement.

“The universe has conspired and we can’t wait to welcome hoards of Gizzheads at our Friend’s Farm in Tallarook over New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Stay up all night and get hot, sweaty, muddy, wet, weird and wild.”
