Bassist Oteil Burbridge put together an Oteil & Friends lineup that includes saxophonist/vocalist James Casey for upcoming concerts at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on February 11 and 12. The two-night stand is among the first performances for Casey who missed Trey Anastasio Band’s 2021 tour to undergo treatment for colon cancer.
Casey’s TAB bandmates, trumpeter/vocalist Jennifer Hartswick and trombonist/vocalist Natalie Cressman will join him to form the horn section for Oteil & Friends’ Capitol Theatre concerts. The lineup also features multi-instrumentalist Jason Crosby, guitarists Eric Krasno and Tom Guarna as well as drummer Pete Lavezzoli.
Tickets for Oteil & Friends’ performances at The Capitol Theatre go on sale this Friday, December 3 at 12 p.m. ET via Ticketmaster (February 11, February 12). Follow this link for pre-sale info.
